Indians are dependant on God and on Government ?

The people of India had been under Rajas, Maharajas, MNonarchs and then under the Imperialists and they remained under such rules for centuries and therefore, they were never allowed to have an introspection and that had been the reason they had been kept as slaves and had never been allowed to utilise their own will. The state had been most powerful over them and they had to obey the commands of the rulers and none was in a position to disobey the commands of the rulers. Therefore, they adopted the way of prayer and that is the reason the people of India are mostly religious people. They left their fate on God and obeyed the rulers because they could create a faith in them that whatever they were suffering, that had been the will of God and God Himself had written their luck and had given birth to them in this country.

It is on record that it is popular for its books on religion and for number of religions and then for number of religious places. It is known for its number of people who had been founding religions and number of Gods and Godesses, saints, Rishis, Munis, Bhagatas, Gurus and Faqirs. It haqs become very difficult to count religious people, religious books, religious places and religious faiths. The Indians could not develop one faith and on most of the occasions they had been divided on the basis of religions, castes, colours and creeds and even they had been divided on the basis of money and wealth they had been possessing and education they had received. They could not unite and that had been the reason that the rulers had been following the policy opf 'Divide and Rule' and it is on record that the rulers had been successful.

When the people could not face and counter the rulers, they started praying before God and left all their fate on the will of God. They lost the faith in the principle, 'Believe in God and do the right' or ' God helps those who help themselves' and that had been the reason that they left the idea of making efforts and relied on their prayers.

Since the Indians had been depending upon Governments and on God, the people in the field of Government and in the field of religon became rich and powerful and this concept had been there even after the Indians achieved independence in 1947 and they became a Republic in 1950. We may note that more and more religious places are coming into being and even in private and individual sectors and the people who are owning these religious places are growing rich and powerful and similarly the people who are in Government side are also turning rich and powerful and in spite of this independence and democracy, the people are illiterate, unemployed, poor, exploited, discriminated and kept slaves. They are given false promises at the time of elections and once elections are held, they are pushed back to suffer for another term of five years or more. Similarly the people in religion are dividing the people and we have noted that the people in India could not become a' Nation '. They are divided as majority and minorities and they are fighting amongst each other.

We have been told that the people on ruling side have invented so many new methods of collecting money and the new methods are scams, scandals, muddles, bribes, corruption, dalali, commissions and all that and we have been told that the people in the ruling front are collecting huge amounts and they are depositing all this money in foreign banks under secret bank accounts. In spite of lapse of six decades, the problems of the people at large are the same which were available during the rule of Rajas, Maharajas, Monarchs and the Imperialists and all the promises made in the Constitution of India are just paper-work and could not operated upon.

Time has come when the people shall have to start having an introspection and they must try to improve the lot of their own family. they shall have to ensure that each member of the family has got proper education, proper traianaing and proper adjustment at work from where he could carry proper wages with which he could be in a position to run his family administration. Dependence on Government should beavoided and similarly the Indian must start believing in their own capacity. They may pray before God, but they should stop offering money before the dieties. They should believe in the concept,' Work is worship', 'Believe in God and do the right', and ' God helps those who help themselves' and till they adopt these new concepts, they would never be able to raise their life standards and the people in Government side and people in the religion side would continue exploiting them and they would never be able to raise their life style.
